Program Meetings are held at Merrillville High
School and begin at 7 pm.

This is a certification year for Basketball, clinic
will be on Sunday, October 24 at noon. Clinic
will be at Chesterton High School.

Over 260 licensed Basketball Officials make up the LCAOA program. This is the largest number of Association-Affiliated officials in the Northern part of the State. Of that number, over 170 received assignments in the 09/10 seasons.

The program is being led this year by multiple State Final Official Andy Simpson and Big Ten replay official Tom Herbert.

We currently assign Basketball for the Northwest Crossroads, Greater South Shore and Great Lakes Athletic Conferences as well as Boone Grove, Covenant Christian, Gary West Side and Hebron High Schools.

Beginning with the 2010/11 season, all contests we assign at the Varsity level will be staffed with the IHSAA recommendation of 3 officials. This will greatly assist our members in preparation for the tournament series.
